Responsible Gaming Policy

1. Our commitment

THNDR LTD ("THNDR") is dedicated to providing a fun, fair, and safe competitive environment. While our platform offers skill-based competitions rather than games of chance, we recognize that real-money competition can evoke strong emotions. We are committed to preventing gaming-related issues and ensuring our users play responsibly.

2. Skill gaming vs. gambling

It is important to understand the nature of our platform:

  • Skill-Based: The outcome of every match on THNDR is determined by your input, strategy, and ability. Unlike gambling, there is no reliance on luck, dice, or chance elements.
  • Control: You are in control of the outcome. However, the excitement of competition requires self-discipline. If you feel you are losing control over your time or spending, we encourage you to use the tools outlined below.

3. Protection of minors

THNDR services are strictly for individuals aged 18 and older (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction).

  • No Underage Play: We do not knowingly allow minors to transact or compete on our platform. Any account found to belong to a minor will be immediately suspended.
  • Parental Controls: If you share your device with children, we strongly recommend using parental control tools (such as Net Nanny or Cybersitter) or built-in device restrictions to prevent access to our App.

4. Self-exclusion & account suspension

If you feel that your gaming is becoming problematic, or if you simply wish to take a break, we offer a Self-Exclusion mechanism.

How to Request Self-Exclusion:

Since THNDR operates across multiple interfaces (App, Telegram, Partner Widgets), the most effective way to suspend your access is to contact our dedicated support team.

  • Email: Send a request to hello@thndr.games with the subject line "Self-Exclusion".
  • Information Required: Please provide your User ID or Lightning Address (if relevant) used for gaming.
Options Available:
  1. Cooling-Off Period: A temporary suspension of your account for a specific period (e.g., 24 hours, 7 days, or 30 days).
  2. Permanent Self-Exclusion: A permanent block on your account. You will not be able to reactivate your account or create a new one.
Effect of Self-Exclusion:

Once processed, you will be blocked from entering paid competitions on the THNDR App and Telegram bot. We will also make reasonable efforts to block your access via our Partner Widgets, subject to technical limitations.

5. Information for partner platform users (B2B)

Many players access THNDR games via third-party websites (Partner Platforms), such as betting sites or gaming portals.

  • Shared Responsibility: If you play via a Partner Platform, THNDR acts as the game provider, but the Partner holds your funds.
  • Using Partner Tools: We strongly recommend using the Responsible Gaming tools provided by the Partner Platform (e.g., Deposit Limits, Session Limits).
  • Synchronization: If you exclude yourself directly with THNDR, we will block your access to the game engine. However, this may not automatically block your ability to use other services on the Partner Platform. You should contact the Partner directly to ensure a comprehensive exclusion.

6. Financial management

THNDR does not act as a bank and does not hold user deposits in the B2C model. Therefore, we cannot set "Deposit Limits" in the traditional sense.

  • Personal Responsibility: You are responsible for managing the funds in your Lightning Wallet. We encourage you to set a personal budget for entry fees and never play with money you cannot afford to lose.
  • Transaction History: You can request your gameplay history from us at any time to review your spending and win/loss record.

7. Signs of problem gaming

If you recognize any of the following behaviors, consider taking a break or seeking help:

  • Spending more time or money than intended.
  • Chasing losses (trying to win back money lost).
  • Neglecting work, school, or family to play.
  • Borrowing money to compete.
