Telegram is one of the largest social chat platforms in the world with nearly 1 billion users. And with the recent ease of adding games to the Telegram platform, it has become an active hub for gaming. We wanted to bring Clinch to the world through this new avenue, alongside global favorites like Hamster Kombat, Toncoin, and Catizen.
Now there’s no need to download an extra app or open a new window in your browser. Clinch is just a click away, right within Telegram. You’re already there chatting with friends, why not challenge them to a game of skill-based Solitaire while you’re at it?

Step 1: Once there, click the ‘Start’ button on the welcome screen.
Step 2: Clinch will launch in Telegram and you will see a list of menu options. You can either click the ‘Play’ button from the list, or the persistent blue ‘Play’ button in the bottom left corner.
Step 3: You will then be prompted to link a Lightning-enabled Bitcoin wallet. Select your preferred wallet and enter your Lightning Address.
You can find your Lightning Address in your Bitcoin wallet. If you have trouble locating this, our customer support team is happy to help in the Clinch Community Telegram Group.
Step 4: After linking your wallet, you can immediately begin playing by selecting a wager tier.
Step 5: After selecting a wager tier, you will be prompted to pay for the wager. This will open your linked wallet in the browser, which will then ask permission to open the wallet app. Once the app is open, click pay or send. You will then need to navigate back to the Telegram app where your match will be waiting!
Launching Clinch on Telegram desktop is almost identical to that on mobile. Follow Steps 1 and 2 above, but on Desktop, you won’t need to connect a waller in Step 3. Rather than using Lightning Addresses, the desktop version of Clinch Telegram uses Lightning Invoices.
After Step 2, you can immediately select your wager tier. You will be prompted with a QR code (containing a Lightning Invoice). Either scan the QR code with your Bitcoin wallet, or copy the invoice and paste into your Bitcoin wallet to pay.
Once you’ve paid the invoice, navigate back to Telegram where your match will be waiting.
Don’t forget, you can earn even more Bitcoin by referring your friends. Entice them with 50% off their entry fees, and you earn 10% of entry fees on every one of their wagers!
And remember, you can only refer your friends once. Once someone has added a referral code, that’s it! So don’t miss your chance to build your ultimate squad. Invite your friends and see the power of passively stacking sats.
