We’ve been thrilled at the positive reception of Clinch and we’re blown away by our growing community. While many Clinch community members have been referring friends to grow the network, we wanted to offer a way to sweeten the deal!

Today we’re launching the Clinch Referral Program to reward you for referring your friends and network to Clinch.

The earning potential is endless and the payouts are instant. Here’s a quick breakdown of the program:

Program overview:

• Your friends get 50% off Clinch entry fees (aka the 'rake')
• You earn 10% of the rake for every round they play (and 5% of the rake of anyone they refer)
• The more friends you refer, the more you earn
• Earnings are capped for 12 months from the first referral, for each unique referred user.

Get Clinching (if you aren’t already):

1. First, you need to have a Clinch account. If you don’t already, sign up at clinch.gg
2. Once you have an account, make sure you have a Lightning-enabled Bitcoin wallet linked to your account. This way you have somewhere for your rewards to be sent!

Get stated with referrals:

1. Simply open the Clinch app or in browser and a pop-up will appear with your referral code
2. OR, open up the Navigation Menu in the upper left corner of your screen
3. Select ‘Referrals’ and copy your code
4. Send your code to your friends and have them enter the code in the same ‘Referrals’ section of the app

Two ways to earn: Indirect and direct referrals:

To sweeten the deal even more, we’ve added two paths to earning: direct and indirect. This makes it possible to earn passively rewards for growing your referral network:

• Direct referrals: These are users that you refer directly. You will earn 10% of the rake on every wager they place.
• Indirect ‘bonus’ referrals: These are users that your direct referrals (above) refer. So basically friends of friends ;P. You will earn 5% of the rake on every wager any indirect referral places.

Earning tiers:

Earnings are based on a tiered system that increase your referral reward percentages the more your refer. Below is a chart illustrating how reward percentages increase as you progress through referral tiers:

When do I get my rewards:

Every time a referred friend completes a round of Solitaire, you instantly receive your rewards to your preferred Bitcoin wallet. There is no waiting 30-60 days to receive your rewards or manually request cash outs. Rewards are automatic and seamless – you don’t need to lift a finger.
